Chick-fil-A Inc. seems relentless in its desire to secure a location near Knapp Street and East Beltline Avenue on Grand Rapids’ northeast side. 

American sculptor Beverly Pepper, 94, is giving her print and drawing archives covering nearly seven decades of work to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

One of Grand Rapids’ latest restaurants, The Sovengard, is taking a cue from the New Nordic movement — with a Scandinavian-influenced, local, “hyper-seasonal” menu despite cold climates for farming much of the year.
