Each and every December, countless television specials, movies, concerts and almost every conceivable type of media devout hours to the age-old question: What is the true meaning of Christmas? Thus far, our research has shown several possible answers exist to this inquiry, ranging from peace on earth to consumerism as cardio-exercise. But perhaps none are better prepared to tackle the miracle of the Yuletide better than Canada’s own Trailer Park Boys, whose close original proximity to the North Pole surely gives them a competitive advantage. Embarking on The Dear Santa Tour, TP Boys Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, Randy and Mr. Lahey are ready to reprise the recent success of their eponymous hit Showcase network TV series, and fans are likely to find that the gang’s hilariously brutish humor translates seamlessly from screen to stage. God rest ye, merry gentlemen, and your never-ending commitment to booze, buds and bawdiness. The true meaning of Christmas has never felt quite so deliciously beer-soaked.
