Vaccines and warm weather means events are officially back!

The week ahead has plenty to do and see, and June is when the fun really kicks off, so we’re getting back to a weekly Revue Itinerary. Come here every Wednesday to see things to do in West Michigan, both on the weekend and weekdays!

Beer, music, art, festivals, family fun — we have it all.

The Comedy Project
May 28-29
thecomedyproject.com

The Comedy Project returns with a sketch comedy show all about life in the modern era. “As the pandemic raged, comedians rallied! Now, a year later (give or take), we present stories of home-schooling horrors, talking pillows, elastic waistbands, 8-bit boobs and the conspiracy loving puppets of Avenue QAnon!”

The Comedy Project has drinks, including a wide selection of moonshine and snacks to eat.

Third Nature Brewing Co. Beer Run
7733 Childsdale Ave. NE, Rockford
June 1, 6:30 p.m.
facebook.com

Every Tuesday, Third Nature Brewing is hosting an evening beer run. Check in first for an opportunity to earn rewards like a free beer and Third Nature running singlet! The run starts at 6:30 and you can do either a 3 or 5 mile run on the trail. After the run, grab some dinner and beer!

STAFF PICK: TreeRunner Adventure Park
2121 Celebration Dr. NE, Grand Rapids
treerunnerparks.com

Grand Rapids’ best ropes course is both a lot of fun and an excellent workout. Once you get up in the trees, you feel like you’re in a different world — not behind the parking lot of a massive theater. It’s rewarding to get to the end of each path, not just because you’ve made it but because you get to zip line! I’m itching to get back.
