Ohhh the weather outside is ... not that bad actually!

The week ahead has a good mix of warm, sunny days and the winter chill we crave — perfect for going around town to all kinds of events.

This weekend is really all about celebrating the holidays, the last weekend before they're actually here! Time flies, doesn't it?

From concerts to cookie decorating, markets and more, here's what's on our radar for the week ahead:

Cookie Decorating Workshop
Bridge Street Market
405 Seward Ave. NW, Grand Rapids
Dec. 16, 5:30-7 p.m.

In this beginner’s workshop hosted by Sweet Details Grand Rapids, you will learn the basics (which are actually quite advanced) of cookie decoration while creating a set of cookies! You’ll learn about icing consistincies, outlines, floods, wet-on-wet, texture and sprinkles. And you’ll take home your own cookies and recipes for perfect cookies/icings. Family friendly!

Pentatonix: Evergreen Christmas Tour
Van Andel Arena
130 W. Fulton St., Grand Rapids
Dec. 16, 7 p.m.

Pentatonix may be the most famous a capella group on Earth, and that didn’t happen by accident. They’re especially well-known for their Christmas music, releasing their 6th holiday album, Evergreen, in October.

DAAC Artist Market
1553 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids
Dec. 16-17

This is the DAAC’s first artist market in the new space, and they’re so excited to welcome you in. Head here either day for the coolest local art around, made by creators of all ages and all mediums.

Taste and Tour with Delilah
The Felt Estate
6597 138th Ave., Holland
Dec. 17, 6-9 p.m.

Head to the absolutely gorgeous, historic Felt Estate for This Taste and Tour event, featuring craft beers from New Holland Brewing Company and wines from Fenn Valley Vineyards; a guided holiday tour with director, Patty Meyer; and a holiday concert with Delilah DeWylde.

Holiday Classics with Dave Wickerham
Grand Rapids Public Museum
272 Pearl St. NW, Grand Rapids
Dec. 17-20

If you’ve never experienced the public museum’s Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ, you’re absolutely missing out. Watch a master, Dave Wickerham, at work on this massive organ from 1928, playing holiday classics in a way you’ve never seen.

Jingle Bell Brunch
Creston Brewery
1504 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids
Dec. 19, 11 a.m.

Creston Brewery is back, and it’s time to celebrate with a fun, jolly drag brunch. Come for the food, enjoy the performance, and stay for the beer.

Holiday Art Market
Pyramid Scheme
Dec. 19, 4-8 p.m.

Pyramid Scheme is back with an annual art market featuring local creators! Come on in, grab a drink, buy some gifts and play pinball.
