Two very unique exhibitions, InBEtween & Rooted, are presented in the LowellArts Gallery this fall. InBEtween is a touring group show that examines questions around intersectionality, displacement, and otherness. The exhibition includes the work of artists from Germany, US, and India and is curated by NYC based artist Tara Sabharwal. Rooted combines the work of fiber artists Nancy McRay and Shanna Robinson with the works an on-going collaborative of 9 artists who have created several pieces together about invasive species and endangered species. These artists are all reside in Northwestern Michigan.
