The Holland Area Arts Council is now selling tickets to the Nutcracker Ballet Afternoon Tea.

The event, which takes place at 3 p.m. on Nov. 20, is meant to expose more people to the ballet, with cheaper tickets for a shorter, more interactive performance. The Grand Rapids Ballet’s Junior Company is performing vignettes from the Nutcracker, with narration provided by Artistic Director Attila Mosolygo, dressed as Uncle Drosselmeyer. The performance includes tea, snacks and treats for both adults and children.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 10 and younger. The event sold out quickly, last year.
