20 Monroe Live just released multiple large events coming to the downtown Grand Rapids venue in the coming months.
On May 29, Hozier is coming, shortly following the release of his new album, Wasteland, Baby! The Irish singer-songwriter grew to prominence with his hit single, Take Me to Church, and continues to create soulful, powerful ballads. Tickets go on sale Fri., Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. here.
Earlier that month, DMX is arriving on May 2 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. He’ll be playing plenty of hits from across his long career. Tickets go on sale Fri., Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. here.
Also, next month, the venue is celebrating International Women’s Day. The evening will include a cocktail and networking hour, special guests, and Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who presided over the 2018 Larry Nassar case. Tickets will go on sale Fri, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. here.
Finally, just a short time from now, 104.5 SNX is hosting a Valentine’s Day Stoplight Dance Party at 20 Monroe. Party-goers show their relationship status by wearing red (taken), yellow (open to possibilities) or green (single and “ready to mingle”). A DJ will be spinning Top 40 hits all night.
