Calvin College has released its schedule for the 2017 January Series, a month of experts, performers and other presenters visiting the college.

After directing the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra for 18 years, Raymond Harvey will be transitioning to music director emeritus at the end of the 2016-17 concert season.

ArtPrize awards $55,000 in grants to large-scale public art installations

Since graduating from Western Michigan University in 2012, Nashon Holloway has performed her unique combination of rock, soul and jazz with her backing band, The Soul Messengers, all over the area, even since moving to Chicago. This month she returns to Kalamazoo for an album release show at Bell's Eccentric Cafe.
