Ionia Avenue’s reputation as the night-life hotspot of Grand Rapids will see an upbeat change with the welcoming of Menna’s Joint as the newest member to its strip.
The college-town eatery caters to the young at heart whose appetite for American-style burritos and original grilled wrap sandwiches can be complimented by the lounge’s laid-back environment.
As a new addition, Menna's Joint plans to do more than satisfy those late-night cravings; an increase in density and the addition of several new jobs to the developing Arena District are expected, according to a recent press release.
The Grand Rapids chain will be sure to uphold its notable youthful irreverence by remaining as an establishment operated by young, business-minded students who are keen in putting the ‘dub’ in DUBlicious.
On Friday, Jan. 31, the “home of the dub” will celebrate its grand opening where dub-lovers can indulge in one of 20 addictive sandwiches from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. the following morning.
To compete with its fellow Ionia attractions, Menna’s grand opening will set the bar even higher with a remote radio broadcast by the popular 104.5 WSNX’s Holmes & The FreakShow during the evening of Jan. 31.
The downtown Grand Rapids spot will serve as Menna’s first location away from a college campus, but number six alongside its sister locations in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Mt. Pleasant and Allendale.
