One of Michigan's largest festivals is back, with a lineup of huge names and a new location announced for 2020.
Mo Pop — taking place on July 25 and 26 — features big and small artists across all genres, playing on two stages. The festival is especially known for hosting artists right before they blow up big, such as Billie Eilish and King Princess. As West Riverfront Park is under renovation, the festival is moving to the Historic Fort Wayne, a landmark and large outdoor event space.
This year's lineup includes headliners Khalid, the pop and R&B singer of "Talk" fame, and The 1975, the hugely popular English pop-rock band known for hits like "Somebody Else."
Some other big names are Purity Ring, Orville Peck and Doja Cat.
Here's the full lineup:
The festival also always has more fun than music, including food from local restaurants and food trucks, the Mo Pop Arcade with tons of totally free classic games, the Craft Bazaar featuring local artists and crafts, and Haute to Death & Friends, "Detroit's most stylish and expressive dance party."
Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, March 16 at 10 a.m.
