Last week, we brought you some major tuneage from Jake Simmons. We're going to keep it rolling with music by another Jake.
Jake Pauwels, who hits the stage by the name of Jake Down, released a five-song EP a couple months ago with his band Jake Down and the Midwest Mess. The album, entitled Shipwreck, was released on The Great Lakes Collective and features an infectious brand of acoustic folk rock.
We pulled this gem off of Shipwreck. The track is called "A Plow Broke The Plains," and in our humble opinion, it could be strongest song on the whole disc. You can listen to it below, or throughout our whole site while you surf.
With new recorded material on the way, keep your eyes and ears open for Jake Down and his band of merry men.
