If you don't know the Grand Rapids-based folk rock band Bennett yet, you should learn their name. This trio of fresh-faced college kids carry an incredibly mature and polished sound that bring a variety of instruments into the mix. This is all an addition to rich vocal harmonies.
Bennett is a combined musical effort of maestros Josiah Gentry, Nicholas James Warren and Nick Rolls.
Gentry and Co. has been toiling away in the local scene for quite some time. Back in his younger years, Gentry was a acoustic pop hot shot who was a regular in the Skelletones scene. He went on to establish the folk band Sleeping Bear, which seemingly laid a lot of the ground work for his latest musical venture.
Bennett will be making in-state stops in East Lansing, Bellaire and Leland yet this month. This week, we're featuring their track "Back To You" right here on our home page. Give it a listen below, or anywhere else as you surf RevueWM.com.
