This week's Local Track of the Week is pretty much hot off the presses. It comes from a Grand Rapids-based band called Midnight Alive. Their latest EP Forever was even released on Tooth & Nail Records, the Christian rock label that has seen such acts as Norma Jean, Underoath and Jeremy Camp on their roster. Needless to say, the whole EP is polished, tight and radio friendly.
Midnight Alive, which is currently comprised of duo Brian Hedburg and William Kramer, wields an Owl City-brand of electro pop punk. To be perfectly honest, I didn't know a lot about this band until this latest EP hit, but with the Tooth & Nail family behind them and a great sounding record, chances are, we'll start to hear about them more.
For this week's track of the week, we went with "Déjà Vu", a sleepy little number with a catchy hook. Take a listen.
