TRACK OF THE WEEK: "Polar Vortex" by Voluptuous Panic

Voluptuous Panic knows how to keep a nice thirst for new music good and quenched. Featuring the Grand Rapids duo of Brian J. Bowe and Gretchen DeVault, the group is steadily releasing new, whimsical tunes online over the course of the year. With new tracks hitting the web every other month, listeners have plenty of time to get acquainted with the current stuff and turn around and discover more.

Voluptuous Panic already released Fall Away in March of 2014 and Polar Vortex in May of 2014. Both are two-song EPs and are catching the ears of Shoegaze enthusiasts both locally and beyond. The band’s music is already gaining some mileage on a variety of different music blogs.

So, if you’re a hardcore Shoegazer, or just need a soundtrack to your chill evening out on the deck (Bonus: you don't have to freeze your ass off anymore), check out our Local Track of the Week.

We’re brining you a song all Michiganders can respect, called “Polar Vortex”. Get lost in the dreaminess and press play.
