When you take a listen to the high-energy, straight-up rock 'n' roll stylings of Grand Rapids-based band Red Legs, it's hard to imagine that this grouped morphed out of just a couple of guys with acoustic guitars. The band's most recent album, The Take All, shows that these dudes were made to rock.
That's exactly what they do on our featured local track of the week. We're spinning the song "Sabertooth" on our website all week long. This punk-y tune is off of The Take All and truly captures the essence of what the band has accomplished with the album, which was released in July of 2013.
Red Legs — comprised of Alex Haskins, Logan Bailey, Trevor Yake and Tim O'Connor — will hit the live stage on Jan. 17 at The Pyramid Scheme for a local music show case put on by Fusion Shows.
