Although Frederik Meijer Gardens is always a great place to visit, it’s especially exciting during the Outdoor Summer Concert Series. And with performers like Styx, Alison Krauss, Jason Mraz and O.A.R., there truly is a concert for everyone in 2018.
With views of the gardens and sculptures from the 1,900-seat amphitheater, Meijer Gardens is considered one of the most unique and intimate outdoor concert venues in Michigan.
Members can purchase tickets during a special presale from Apr. 28 at 9 a.m. to midnight on May 11 and save themselves $5 per ticket. On May 12 at 9 a.m., tickets will go on sale to the general public.
The special show with Alabama on August 23 will act as a fundraiser to benefit the Welcoming the World: Honoring a Legacy of Love capital campaign. Proceeds from the campaign will be used to improve and expand on the gardens.
