Grand Rapids-based neoclassical hard rock band (think Trans Siberian Orchestra, but with more teeth) Aria Flame will be going international with their unique brand of music this fall.
The band recently confirmed their spot on the Metal Female Voices Festival that is slated for Oct. 17-19 in Belgium. The festival attracts female-fronted metal and hard rock bands from around the world, putting them into two epic and estrogen-filled days of head bashing rock.
Previously, the festival booked headliners like Lacuna Coil, Epica, ReVamp, Nightwish and more. Needless to say, the men and women of Aria Flame, which include members of defunct local rock group Dendura, are pumped about the recent announcement.
The band currently has a single entitled "My Own Little Hell," which is available at all the major online retailers. The song was mixed and mastered by Neil Kernon, who has worked with the likes of Judas Priest and Nevermore.
