Inside The Mitten ready to rock, show some skin

Now, here is a combination you don't hear about every day — indie rock and boobs. But, Halloween generally lends itself to these types of hijinks.

The madness is brought to you by Inside The Mitten, a local concert series that sets up shop at Watermark 920, located at 920 Washington Ave. in Muskegon.

On Oct. 25, for its own unique Halloween Bash, Inside the Mitten presents Chordis Bell, which will share the stage with the Bayside Bombshells burlesque troupe.

Per normal Halloween rules, all attendees are encouraged to sport a costume to the show. And, of course, you know there will be prizes to give away for the best costumes in the mix.

Doors to the event open at 6 p.m. and the Traverse City-based Bayside Bombshells will take the stage first at 7:15 p.m. The Bombshells deliver everything from striptease to comedic tomfoolery.

Chordis Bell will rock two sets, showing off their diverse arsenal of sound, which puts them on the fringe of jam band and indie rockers (among other genres).

In typical Inside the Mitten fashion, the evening will also be moderated by Joey Basch, who will facilitate conversation with the acts to give attendees a deeper understanding of their respective art.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
