Gilda's LaughFest announced its 2014 headliners this morning, including its signature dinner event, which is an evening with talk show host, Jay Leno.
The festival is also bringing back Jim Gaffigan and Sinbad, which both sold out shows in previous years. Also returning to the festival are the Clean Comedy Showcase, Best of the Midwest, LaughFest's Best and the National Stand-Up Comedy Showcase.
New this year is a partnership between Gilda's LaughFest and Broadway Grand Rapids. The two organizations are bringing in Emmy and Tony award winner Lily Tomlin to perform her one-woman show.
Additional headliners include Chris Tucker, who many know from his roles in Rush Hour and recently, the award-winning Silver Linings Playbook. "30 Rock" alumn Judah Friedlander also makes an appearance, as well as best selling author and Chelsea Handler pal, Jen Kirkman.
The list rounds out with YouTube sensation Miranda Sings, comedy troupe The Tenderloins, Maria Bamford (who has appeared on the fourth season of "Arrested Development" and had an unfortunate run-in with Steve Brule), triple headliners Todd Barry, Rory Scovel and Nick Thune and kids rock band, Milkshake.
The announcement took place at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, which will also double as LaughFest Central. LaughFest runs March 6-16, 2014.
