Mo Pop Festival is back again, and with some big names in tow.
Now in its sixth year, Mo Pop takes over Detroit’s West RiverFront Park for two days, July 28 and 29. The lineup is diverse, from hip-hop to folk to electronic and everything in between.
Headlining this year are indie folk/electronic artist Bon Iver, rock band The National, psychedelic rock band Portugal. The Man, and hard-to-define multi-instrumentalist St. Vincent.
Also high on the bill are hip-hop artist Vince Staples and rock trio Highly Suspect.
The festival features two stages, with no two bands playing at the same time, so you never have to choose. If one artist isn’t your style, head to the free air-conditioned Mo Pop Arcade, the Craft Bazar or one of the many beer/cocktail/food tents and trucks.
Tickets for the festival are available now at mopopfestival.com, $99.50 for weekend tickets and $75 for single-day tickets. The full line-up is below, as well as a streaming playlist of songs from the artists.
