Nas announces stop in West Michigan on new tour

Hip-hop and rap fans are in for a thrill this July as Nas has decided to make a stop in Grand Rapids on his latest tour.

The American rapper and songwriter will be making an appearance on July 29 at 20 Monroe Live. His 1994 debut, Illmatic, launched Nas to fame and is still seen as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time.

Both multi-platinum artists are making two stops in Michigan during this tour — one in Clarkston (with Mary J. Blige) and one in Grand Rapids solo — before they head out of state and continue their international concert series.

Tickets begin pre-sale on June 6 at 10 a.m. with the code GROOVE.
