A familiar corner in Grand Blanc is getting a colorful new look, and for Anna’s House, the transformation is part of a story that started right here in West Michigan.
Anna’s House began in West Michigan and has grown into a recognizable Michigan breakfast and brunch brand, with locations continuing to expand beyond its original home base. Rather than starting from scratch, Anna’s House is once again transforming an existing property into something new. Once a Big Boy, the building has already undergone a noticeable facelift, including brand-new windows and a bright, distinctive exterior that is quickly giving the space the colorful Anna’s House look.

According to the latest update from Anna’s House Grand Blanc, the restaurant is currently expected to open in late October 2026. Once open, it will be the brand’s 14th location and will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For those in the Grand Blanc and greater Flint area, the new location will bring Anna’s House’ breakfast and lunch menu to another part of Michigan. The menu features traditional breakfast and brunch favorites alongside a wide range of vegan and gluten-free options. An alcohol menu is also expected to be available.
The restaurant also has a separate allergy-friendly kitchen space designed to accommodate guests with food sensitivities, giving diners with dietary restrictions additional options when they visit.
That transformation is especially fitting for a West Michigan-born company whose growth has often meant taking an existing space and giving it a completely different purpose and personality. As Anna’s House continues to expand outside of West Michigan, Grand Blanc is the latest example of that approach.
