Before you start thinking, "Schoolboy WHO?" let's take a moment to highlight some of Schoolboy Q's recent highlights. Currently, Schoolboy is all over the airwaves with a guest appearance on recent Grammy-winner Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' latest single, "White Walls." And speaking of the Grammys, he also guested on critical rap darling and Grammy-nominee Kendrick Lamar's track, "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe."
But Schoolboy isn't one to ride on coattails. On Feb. 25, he's set to release his third full-length album, Oxymoron. The album features guest spots by Schoolboy friends Kendrick Lamar (returning the favor), A$AP Rocky and Raekwon to guest on the album. He's also headlining a world tour in support of the album, with a stop at The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids on April 19. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22.50 the week prior to show and $25 day of show.
Tickets go on sale Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. and are available at the Orbit Room box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Vertigo Music, Shakedown Street, The Corner Record Shop, Flat Black and Circular in Lansing and Greenlight Music in Kalamazoo.
