While Grand Rapids-based pop rock band Ignite The Borealis works on more music to add to its already extensive three-album catalogue, it might be high time to bone up on some of its current jams.
After debuting the album A Moments Notice in 2011, the band has averaged an album a year — one of those being an EP (Stars & Satellites). The most recent release is called Coup De Grace, a full-length that features 12 tracks.
Ignite the Borealis' work is rife with high-energy tunes that feature more hooks than a butcher's shop (zing). But seriously, the band's sound speaks to the classic days of Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco.
Ignite The Borealis will be in action at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids on Feb. 15. For now, you can settle for some recordings. "The Way Of The Gun" is a nice sampling of their work. Check it out below and throughout the rest of our website.
